Events Teddy Bears Picnic Today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic……. Every year, on a sunny February day, Maternity Associates invite all babies born the previous year, and their family, to a get together at Milford Beach Reserve. Hundreds of parents and their children, and often grand parents too, come with their picnic lunch, and their teddy bears, to meet with friends and to renew acquaintances with their midwife. |

The babies are growing and it’s a pleasure for both mother and midwife to catch up again and experience the joy that a new babe brings to the family. The barbeque is a favourite meeting place, as is the “bouncy castle” for the toddlers, many of whom were Maternity Associates babies too. |
